I'm a Nerd: Offline Gmail

Way back in January I heard about something called Offline Gmail. Basically what it does is it allows you to have all your email downloaded onto your computer, attachments and all. When you can't get an Internet connection, it lets you access your Gmail as though you were online. Pretty slick stuff. It's kind of like Outlook or Thunderbird, but, in my opinion, a million times better. At first it was available in the US and UK only. Yesterday I noticed that it was available in my account as well, so I tried it out. I never realized how useful this can be until I tried it. The only problem with having all your email saved on your hard drive? It takes up a lot of space if you use a lot of your email for attachments. Otherwise it's pretty awesome to have.

Yeah, OK, I'm done being a nerd for now.
