Optimism

Now, I know I've got no chance
but that doesn't change a thing
It's more that I'm too stubborn to accept it
and less that I know the truth of the matter

And it's not like I'm lying to myself about this
That's a daily occurrence in this state of mind
It's just that somehow this will work
(but I have no clue how)

I'd probably say I'm crazy too
and we'd both be right
except for what I'm crazy about
